Job Title: Middleweight 3D Creative Designer. Talent Guardian is seeking a talented and experienced Middleweight 3D Creative Designer with a solid background in environmental, interior, or retail design to join a client based in Lutterworth. The ideal candidate will have between 5-8 years (or more) of experience in retail, interior, exhibition, or commercial design, and a portfolio that showcases innovative, forward-thinking creative solutions. A passion for brand storytelling and a strong understanding of consumer behaviour is essential. As a 3D Creative Designer, you will play an integral role in shaping design concepts that push creative boundaries. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will contribute to strategic design initiatives that drive brand-driven transformations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage creative projects, producing innovative and engaging design concepts. Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to develop strategies that result in impactful design solutions. Continuously refine and elevate creative processes, both independently and as part of the team. Ensure client deliverables meet the highest standards of creativity and quality. Confidently engage with clients, challenge briefs, and communicate design choices effectively. Participate in client meetings, present concepts, take briefs, and professionally represent the brand. Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring technical excellence and seamless project delivery. Work collaboratively with account managers, studio teams, and technical specialists to achieve successful project outcomes. Proficiency in 3DSMax, VRay, Vectorworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong understanding of retail design, including manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and construction technologies. Work closely with contractors and manufacturers to ensure the highest standards in execution. Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behaviour, and retail strategies, offering valuable insights to both the team and clients. Manage time effectively, balancing independent and team-based tasks. Communicate proactively with the Creative Director and team to ensure smooth project execution. Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative environment across departments. Encourage open communication and idea sharing within the team. Maintain high standards of quality with meticulous attention to detail in all projects. Provide constructive feedback to junior designers and interns throughout the creative process. Contribute to the creative development of the team by sharing knowledge and encouraging innovation. Key Requirements: A portfolio demonstrating your creative process and successful project execution. Proven experience managing projects, including structuring timelines and delivering strategies. Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to research, analyse, and make informed design decisions. Experience in customer experience (CX) and brand activation. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and direction. Ability to mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering their development within the team. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, commercial fit-outs, and materials for practical and effective design solutions.
