Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEND Practice Lead for Panel and Specialist Provision, your days will be dynamic and purposeful. You'll be at the heart of supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You will:
* oversee SEND Decision Making Panels to ensure effective and compassionate decision-making
* chair meetings with education settings and providers
* analyse data to identify trends and inform service improvements
* provide expert guidance to colleagues and partners
* quality assure critical documents and panel papers
* build and maintain relationships with specialist provisions
You will utilise your skills to:
* ensure compliance with SEND panel procedures
* support the operational management of the SEND Panels resource team
* develop and maintain positive relationships across the SEND system
* contribute to ongoing service developments
You Will Need
* A graduate-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field
* In-depth knowledge of Signs of Safety and solution-focused intervention approaches
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A passion for making a positive difference in children's lives
* Ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals.
