We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Planning Solicitor with a minimum of a couple of years post-qualification experience to join our client's team in Gatwick. As a Planning Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of planning matters and provide expert legal advice to clients.
In this role, you will:
1. Advise clients on a wide range of planning law matters, including planning applications, appeals, and inquiries.
2. Conduct legal research and analysis to support the development and implementation of planning strategies.
3. Draft legal documents, agreements, and submissions related to planning and development projects.
4. Represent clients in court/public inquiries and negotiate with local planning authorities and third parties.
5. Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
6. Keep up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and regulations.
7. Provide training and support to junior team members.
To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified solicitor with 2+ years experience in planning law. A strong knowledge and experience in UK regulations are essential. You should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills and have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A proven track record of handling complex planning matters and delivering high-quality legal advice is required.
