As a member of the University’s Academic Registry, School Operations Managers primary function is to provide high quality support, advice and strategic guidance to the Head of School and other key role holders, in the delivery of School plans. They will work closely with managers and leaders in other University professional services to ensure all formal and informal communication channels are operating effectively and the Schools’ plans are understood and embedded. The role manages the school administration team, ensuring the effective day to day operations of academic school business. A collaborative approach to management, along with a broad understanding of academic administration are essential for this role.
