Year 2 teacher - Tuebrook We are currently working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Tuebrook, who are looking to appoint a committed and passionate teacher to join their team on a long-term and full-time basis. Key details: Start date: 22nd April 2025 Location: Tuebrook Salary: £120 - £223.62 per dayKey responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN, EAL, and high ability learners. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve. Use a range of interactive and creative teaching strategies to enhance learning and retention. Assess pupil progress through formative and summative assessments. Track attainment and identify gaps in learning, providing targeted support and interventions. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, reporting to parents, carers, and senior leaders as required. Person specification: QTS is essential. Experience working in KS1. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, phonics schemes (e.g., Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds), and assessment frameworks.
