Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aseptic Pharmacist to join our clients Pharmacy team at an NHS Hospital in Birmingham. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Position Details:
Location: NHS Hospital, Birmingham
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with a 30-minute break)
Duration: Ongoing, with a January start
Pay Rate: £27 - £37 per hour (Band 7/8a)
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and dispensing of aseptic products
Ensure compliance with NHS protocols and aseptic procedures
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
Provide expert advice and support on aseptic techniques and related issues
Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures
Undertake quality assurance activities to ensure patient safety
Requirements:
Aseptic experience is essential
Experience in NHS pharmacy services is preferred
Must be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and related pharmacy regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
