Role: Concerto Technical Officer (2 Years Fixed Term)

This is an exciting but challenging opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, well-organised and highly motivated person to join the Land & Property Team at Bury Council to assist with a range of work linked to the Council’s land and property management software systems.
The Land & Property service manages a £268 million estate whilst also adding value to other services through regeneration, housing, planning and with a wide range of partners, including the NHS and social landlords.
This role will provide an effective support function within Land & Property, ensuring ongoing maintenance and management of the Concerto asset management system and supporting the development of planned systems upgrades. This will also ensure that high quality technical and customer services are delivered in line with legislative requirements, providing maintenance, software / information support, engineering, surveying, curating and other specialist functions.
You will help drive the department forward in terms of using the systems to inform Property in the efficient use of the portfolio and helping the whole council realise the potential of their property assets, with the introduction of KPI’s, stronger ties with other council wide systems and aiding a joined up response from all services borough wide.
You will be required to work with the Land & Property Systems Manager and use your technical knowledge and expertise to develop, design and implement customer-focused solutions, so the ability to build relationships, influence and manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders is required.
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week.
