Are you a qualified History or humanities teacher? I am currently on the hunt for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and their subject. You will need to be flexible with the ever-changing school environment and able to get stuck into school life. Community is a big part of the school's ethos and something that they look for in all their staff. The school is based in North West Somerset and is wanting a strong individual to join their team and bring a positive attitude to each class and someone who can work and collaborate with the humanities department. The role is full-time thus would suit an ECT or more experienced teacher.
Duties will include:
* Teaching all key stages of History; a strong curriculum knowledge is vital.
* Planning, marking, and assessing children’s work and progression.
* To be an excellent classroom teacher with a real commitment to high quality teaching and learning.
* To be able to enthuse, engage and motivate students to raise standards to achieve at all levels.
* Willing to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours of the school.
