Following retirement, we have a vacancy for the position of Operations Manager We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Lead Operations Manager, you will join our two other Operations Managers to effectively manage the provision and delivery of our high quality, customer focused bus services for your driving team.You will ensure that the company’s business objectives, standards of customer service and operational quality are achieved.
The Role
The role demands expert management of the company’s resources and first-class people management skills. You don’t need to have worked in the transport sector to apply – you’ll be someone who has proven supervisory experience with a people focused approach, be an effective organiser and a leader who can enthuse and inspire staff to deliver a first-class service to our customers.

You’ll be comfortable dealing with typical management scenarios and have strong communication skills to develop relationships and deliver results through your team.

Tasks
Key responsibilities
* Ensure that legal directives are maintained including, driver hours regulations, working time directive and driver licence requirements.
* Support the Lead Operations Manager with meetings that include performance and development reviews and interviews where required.
* Improving the customer experience by ensuring appropriate standards are maintained.
* Effectively use a range of management information systems.
* Work closely with the whole Operational Management team to produce KPI’s and report on them where necessary.
* Carry out any other duties which may be deemed appropriate to the post.
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
* You will be a proactive individual who is able to work independently and of your own initiative.
* Extremely organised.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* A hands-on approach.
* Friendly with good interpersonal and communication skills
* Fluent in Welsh Language is desirable but not essential.
