We are part of the Emirates group. We're now recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to join us at our flagship Uk office in Leyland (Lancashire). In this role you’ll manage all operational sales aspect for a division of our sales contact centre. You’ll ensure our agent partners continue to receive the exceptional customer experience that we our known for as well as delivering your team’s targets and budgets. As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for approximately 50 Sales Consultants, including 5-6 Team Managers, who you’ll have direct line management responsibility for. To be considered for this role, we’re looking for someone with strong team management experience and leadership skills, with previous experience working in scheduled air/tour operator environment. Our contact centre is currently open Monday-Saturday, with extended hours and days during our peak periods. Job Accountabilities Delivery of your team’s targets & budgets. Maintain agreed business service levels and grow revenue through increased sales/conversion Mentor, develop and coaching your team to deliver on their goals, maintaining a focus on customer growth, the retention of key accounts as well as the retention of employees Work closely with the Sales Manager community to promote synergies and share best practices Review current performance, trading conditions and real time sales performance with Destination Managers. Provide feedback on customer satisfaction to ensure the portfolio meets or exceeds the quality criteria and customer expectations Input into brochure pagination with emerging markets accounted for, new product introduced and poor performing product removed Work with the Destination Team to feedback and resolve all destination/product issues, queries and sales barriers Involvement in our Customer Experience Management (CEM) strategy Work with our Trading Director to drive an increased focus on Net Promotor Score Feedback on competitor activity to the Commercial Teams Support Sales operations to improve consistency, integration, and efficiency of customer interactions Maintain and develop strong relationships with all departments Ensure your team is aware of all sales resources, campaigns, messages and product developments as well as new initiatives and tools available to them Responsible for the recruitment process of sales consultants and team managers To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications: Extensive travel sales experience in a scheduled air or a scheduled tour operator environment Strong demonstrable sales leadership experience Previous managerial experience in a large Contact Centre environment People Management experience Strong business acumen/commercial awareness Great travel industry knowledge – including current issues, trends, economics etc For more information, please click on the job description below.
