If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join an established team as a Supplier Relationship Manager, in order to service client accounts efficiently and to the highest standards.
You will be the driving force behind communicating with a network of suppliers, maximising value and effectiveness from a cost, SLA, support and performance perspective. You will be heavily involved in monitoring and reporting on this area of the business, helping to create long-term strategy with the senior leadership team. In addition to this, you will be leading the wider team on a day-to-day basis.
Duties include:
Supplier growth and management, developing and executing strategies to enhance the quality and breadth of suppliers by proactively sourcing and onboarding new suppliers
Cultivating strong, lasting relationships with suppliers including negotiating terms of business and addressing any complaints
Gaining a deep understanding of client needs and translating them into effective strategies to ensure suppliers can fulfil the workload
Leading, managing, motivating and training the team, ensuring database accuracy and efficient handling of enquiries
Developing and analysing management information to ensure workflow meets SLAs, identifying trends, providing insights, and driving continuous improvement
Collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders and teams
Working within compliance and industry regulations
You will have:
Proven experience managing and nurturing third party relationships, including contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
Excellent team leadership and management skills
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in database management and reporting, experience of MI reporting
