Job Overview
We are looking for experienced paediatric nurses (or adult nurses with paediatric experience) to join our team in the Children’s Emergency Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. We are the Paediatric Major Trauma Centre (MTC) for the south west of England and provide care to over 45,000 sick and injured children from across the region each year.
We have full-time and part-time vacancies for enthusiastic and committed children’s nurses who have completed their preceptorship to join us and welcome informal visits to come and meet the team.

Knowledge and Experience
* Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment.
* Interest in the clinical area.
* Experience of teaching.
* Experience of taking charge.

* Demonstrate competence in clinical skills relevant to the clinical area.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Competence in calculations for safe administration of medicines/fluids.

Qualifications and Training
* RSCN/ RN child branch (NMC registered) or equivalent.
* Current NMC registration.
* Work towards relevant university accredited post basic study programmes.
