Creative Art Teacher – January Start (Flexible) Location: Southampton Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Start date flexible, January preferred) Are you a passionate Art Teacher ready to inspire students through creativity and imagination? What You’ll Be Doing: Inspire Creativity: Deliver engaging and dynamic Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, encouraging them to explore their creativity and artistic skills. Curriculum Excellence: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cover the full Art curriculum, from drawing and painting to digital media and 3D work. Student Development: Help students develop their portfolios and prepare them for GCSE Art exams, ensuring they reach their full creative potential. Collaborative Department: Work alongside a supportive and experienced Art department, sharing ideas and contributing to school-wide creative projects. Extracurricular Activities: Lead and inspire students through extracurricular art clubs and activities, giving them additional opportunities to express their creativity. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or a related subject. A passion for Art and a commitment to nurturing creativity in young people. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with different artistic abilities. Strong organisational skills to ensure effective planning, teaching, and assessment.
