About ROSL
We are looking for a Hall Porter to join our established team at the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL).
The Royal Over-Seas League is a not-for-profit institution founded in 1910, dedicated to promoting international friendship, an ethos which binds our global membership. ROSL runs a ROSL Arts programme, promoting young musicians and artists, including a prestigious Annual Music Competition which is 72 years old. ROSL has 83 bedrooms in our beautiful Grade I listed clubhouse in the heart of St. Jamess, London, and a lively programme of events including concerts, art exhibitions, a public affairs series and fine food and wine occasions.
About the Role
As a Hall Porter at ROSL you will be responsible for providing a friendly, efficient, informative and helpful service to members upon their arrival, departure and during their visit. You will assist with luggage, rooming and member queries as required, while also support the Front Office team in the security of the Club and ensuring that the Clubs rules are followed.
You will have the responsibility for the cloakroom and the storage of members luggage. You will also provide members with information regarding the local area and transport options as well as ordering newspapers, wake-up calls, delivering messages and the sorting and distributing of mail.
You will assist other departments as and when necessary; particularly our Reception, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams.
