Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – Worcester – 40-45K
I am currently representing an excellent HVAC & Mechanical specialist who is looking for a mobile commercial gas engineer to join a growing team within the Northwest region due to growth. They have been established for over 45 years and work across prestigious MOD & MOJ contracts in the Worcester area. You will be joining an established team carrying out reactive and breakdown works to commercial gas appliances and HVAC systems across their MOJ Contract.
The company operates across South Wales, Birmingham, Worcester, and the Northwest. The ideal candidate would have their up-to-date commercial & domestic gas elements, and if they are dual skilled (i.e., FGAS or electrical), this is an added bonus.
THE JOB
1. Monday – Friday - 40-hour weeks
2. 8 hours in the hours of 08.00 – 16.30, some sites allowing earlier access for earlier finish times.
3. Working on the MOD & MOJ Contracts.
4. Mobile Commercial gas Engineer covering Worcester, South Wales, Birmingham, and surrounding areas.
5. Main area of coverage from South Wales to Birmingham.
6. Carrying out Service, Maintenance & Breakdown to Commercial Boilers, plant, and HVAC systems. The company is happy to provide any additional training needed for extra commercial tickets.
7. Candidate needs a clean DBS & Enhanced checks and must be comfortable working within a prison setting.
SALARY & PACKAGE:
1. 40-45K – paid weekly
2. Annual bonuses
3. Company Vehicle & Fuel Card (can be used privately)
4. Phone, Tablet, PPE, uniform, tools, etc.
5. Company pension scheme (3% from client)
6. Death in service schemes
7. Enhanced sick pay.
8. Travel time paid after 30 minutes EW (if travel is within half an hour to site, this is paid)
9. Lots of overtime at enhanced rates and day in lieu for bank holidays with overtime.
10. 25 days holiday bank
11. Call out rota around 1 in 6 weeks.
