This role is responsible for developing recruitment strategies, ensuring a high standard of talent acquisition, and supporting the college in its mission to provide life-changing learning opportunities.\n\nThis role sits within the College People Team. \n\nMain Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the Director of People Experience and Operations to develop and implement a recruitment strategy aligned with the College's (Apply online only) strategic goals, ensuring high-quality talent acquisition.\n\nStrengthen and maintain the College's employer brand, making Sheffield College a top employer in the region.\n\nLead on data reporting for recruitment activities, including EDI data and recruitment timelines, providing insights for continuous improvement.\n\nFoster strong stakeholder relationships by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to address recruitment challenges and support strategic initiatives.\n\nManage key recruitment channels and suppliers, ensuring cost-effective methods to attract high-calibre candidates.\n\nEnhance social media and online presence to attract top talent and drive engagement.\n\nStandardise recruitment processes across the college, including interview procedures, job descriptions, and advertising methods for consistency and effectiveness.\n\nSupport the People team development, ensuring training and best practices are followed.\n\nManage and optimise the recruitment system, ensuring processes are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with best practices.\n\nDevelop and maintain a preferred supplier list, ensuring a balance between value for money and quality of candidates.\n\nWhat we can offer you\n\nAs the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £34,801 - £40,192 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role\n\nOur benefits \n\nEnhanced Pension contributions scheme with SYPA - 17.1%\nAnnual leave - 30 Days(222 hours) + 8 Bank Holidays (59.2 hours)- this includes a discretionary Christmas closure period\nHealth and wellbeing, we offer\n\nEmployee assistance programme through Bupa\nOccupational Health through PAM\nFree eye tests for VDU users\n\nFree parking is available at the majority of our campuses\nFurther information can be found on our Benefits and Career Development pages.\n\nDisability Confident\n\nWe are a Disability Confident employer and are committed to removing barriers for applicants with a disability during our recruitment process, upon appointment and as an employee.
