Year 6 Teacher - Gillingham
Full-time - MPS/UPS - September 2024
Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach a Year 6 class on a full-time basis commencing from September till the end of the academic year. This role will include planning and marking responsibilities and interviews will take place ASAP. This role will be on a temp-to-perm basis and is welcome to both experienced teachers and ECTs.
The school is a multi-form faith school close to a town centre and has recently been graded by OFSTED to be Good in all areas. This school has strong leadership and this role is available due to members of staff being promoted internally, and thus creating this role. This school is very accessible via public transport and driving.
The Role
1. Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in Y6.
2. Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
3. Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
4. Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements
9. Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
10. Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2, Y6 experience would be highly desirable but not essential.
11. Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
12. Have right to work in the UK
