About the Role As an IT Support Engineer, you will work closely with the IT Manager, playing a vital role in shaping and expanding our evolving IT environment. Acting as the first point of contact for IT incidents and requests, youll ensure smooth operations while supporting our business growth. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to key areas of the company. Key Responsibilities IT Support & Troubleshooting: Prioritise, respond to, and resolve helpdesk support issues. System Management: Install, configure, and maintain IT systems while proactively monitoring performance. Infrastructure Growth: Assist in developing and growing our IT infrastructure, including implementing ticketing and alert systems. SharePoint Management: Oversee the administration and optimisation of SharePoint Online. Technology Exploration: Research, test, and deploy new technologies that enhance business operations. End-User Support: Train employees to ensure efficient use of IT systems and conduct DSE assessments. Security & Updates: Manage IT security patching, role-based access controls, and software upgrades. Backup Management: Maintain operations in the absence of the IT Manager, escalating issues when necessary. Additional Tasks: Support other business areas and handle any duties assigned by the IT Manager or senior management. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies. Proven troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting Windows 2019/2022. Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and MDM. Familiarity with SharePoint Online administration. Knowledge of system security, data protection, and role-based access controls. Strong organisational and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. Desirable: M365 or ITIL certifications. Experience with Fortinet Firewalls and Switches. Knowledge of Android operating systems. Familiarity with developing or maintaining websites and social media platforms in a commercial setting.
