Working on the Mick George Group fleet of Cars and Vans, you will complete fault finds through inspections and diagnosing any required work. Carry out services, maintenance, and repairs to the vehicles to a high standard. Prepare the required vehicles for MOTs. Liaise with the Light Vehicle Manager to ensure parts are ordered and delivered in a timely manner. Take responsibility for work load with maximum efficiency. Maintain the working environment to ensure workplace safety and equipment longevity.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a Car/Van Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs qualification. We are seeking someone who can work independently and also work well within a team.
Minimum Requirements:
* Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs qualification
* Full UK driver's license
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on a varied fleet of Cars and Vans
* Ability to diagnose problems effectively and carry out necessary repairs
* To service vehicles in line with manufacturers' recommendations to main dealer standard
* Fault finding using electrical diagnostic equipment
* Excellent communication skills
