We’re looking for an Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator to join our People team in Milton Keynes, supporting a wide and interesting range of tasks to help ensure the ongoing success of our busy team.
This is a great first step into "in-house" recruitment for somebody keen to build a career in recruitment or HR. Full training will be given, and there will be development opportunities for the successful candidate. You will be working in a fun, flexible, and dedicated team where you will receive outstanding support and guidance to help you develop and fulfill your potential.
Key responsibilities of the Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator:
1. Be responsible for all administration within the in-house Recruitment team, including data entry and using Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint.
2. Load vacancies onto our in-house recruitment system.
3. Work with job boards such as Reed and Indeed to advertise our current vacancies.
4. Manage the recruitment team email accounts and assist with incoming queries.
5. Produce regular recruitment reports.
6. Send out and analyze the responses for regular recruitment surveys.
7. Support the recruitment team on projects and with any other administrative needs.
8. Assist hiring managers with ad hoc tasks such as screening CVs, arranging interviews, and supporting them with our system and other recruitment activities.
Skills required to be successful as an Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator:
1. Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Great problem-solving skills.
4. Good team player.
5. Excellent organizational ability.
6. Ability to work to deadlines in a busy, targeted environment.
7. Strong IT skills, including excellent MS Office skills.
