We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Services Officer with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

The role is offered as a 10-month contract covering maternity leave from 3 February 2025.
Responsibilities will include the collection, analysis, and interpretation of spatial data using GIS software, as well as the creation of maps to support decision-making processes. The successful applicant will also be expected to accurately and reliably update databases, collaborate with team members to provide data-driven solutions to various projects, and assist in the development of data management strategies. Therefore, applicants will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Prior experience in data management or GIS is preferred, and the ideal applicant will be proficient in ArcGIS Enterprise, especially ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online, as well as QGIS, with experience in using FME being highly desirable.
Interviews are currently scheduled for the week commencing 21st October.
