The Situation
Ford & Stanley Recruitment are currently partnered with the UK’s leading part supplier to the Railway industry, with expertise across Infrastructure, Traction and Rolling Stock. Our client has a long heritage of product design, innovation and development across the Railway industry, with a particular focus on onboard train systems. The Design and Development team partners closely with Rail manufacturers, focusing on the modernisation and innovation of on-board train systems that align to the functionality and safety of the industry standards. My client is looking to bolster their capabilities and capacity by making a range of hires including a Test and Validation Engineer.
Opportunity
As a Test and Validation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to independently manage the testing process of electronic products developed by the team. You will diligently plan, conduct and report on the test of products under development and later feedback these results back to relevant stakeholders. The D&D team has a well varied and highly skilled team that will support this role and help upskill a successful candidate where appropriate. As part of a smaller team, you will gain great exposure to the most senior stakeholders within the team and test products that directly impact the safety and reliability of the UK railway industry.
Salary & Additional Benefits
£28,000 - £35,000
25 days + 8 bank holidays annual leave
