Education and Training
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting
* Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs and goals
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic and personal development
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Experience working with children with SEN
* At least 2 years of experience working with SEN students
* Demonstrated success in supporting students' academic and personal growth
* Understanding of SEN educational strategies and best practices
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Strong assessment and evaluation skills
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (desirable)
* Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g. autism, dyslexia) (desirable)
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work primarily in an outreach setting, visiting students' homes or schools
* Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and external professionals
