We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a 3-bed children’s home, supporting young people aged 10 to 15 years.

Key Responsibilities:
As our Deputy Manager, you will:
* Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
* Oversee the home’s operations in the Registered Manager’s absence, ensuring a 24/7 response capability.
* Collaborate with the team to plan, deliver, and review services that prioritise the well-being of the children.
* Implement and maintain quality assurance systems that reflect best practices.
* Manage resources effectively, ensuring financial and operational efficiency in line with the Children Act and Children’s Home Regulations.
* Support and manage staff through supervision, effective communication, and fostering a learning culture.
* Provide a caring, safe, and secure environment, meeting the children’s physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Guide and mentor staff to deliver high standards of care, respecting each child’s unique racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within a children’s residential home.
* A background in working within Ofsted-rated “Good” or “Outstanding” children’s residential homes.
* A minimum of NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
