We are looking to appoint a dynamic senior leader who will play a significant role in establishing the newest kura in Tauwharekākaho | Rolleston. We have just appointed a Leader of Inclusion and are now looking to appoint a Leader of Curriculum.
Are you someone who is passionate about curriculum (local and national) and its power to shape and transform learning?
An amazing opportunity lies ahead to join our Y1-8 kura, working alongside the Tumuaki, Establishment Board, and wider Tauwharekākaho Community to design and open this new kura. During 2025, senior leaders will be instrumental in driving the development of our vision and values, staffing our new kura, and co-developing our local curriculum. Our kura will reflect the needs and priorities of Mana Whenua and our diverse community. Te Rau Horopito is a new school scheduled to open in term 1 2026 in the Arbor Green subdivision of Rolleston to serve our fast-growing diverse community. 2025 will be an exciting year for developing the strategic direction and everything we need to open a future-focused, fantastic new kura while it completes its stage 1 build.
