Senior HR Advisor – 35k – 40k per annum – Whitchurch, Shropshire
We are a group of residential and nursing homes in Shropshire, Cheshire, the Wirral, Warwickshire, and the East Midlands.
Springcare is looking for someone to provide comprehensive employee relations guidance and support to Springcare’s managers addressing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including disciplinary actions, grievances, absences, caring responsibilities, restructures, and performance management. You will manage multiple ER cases from beginning to resolution, delivering clear, risk-based advice to managers throughout the process. You will be supporting the organisation through periods of change assisting in managing mergers and acquisitions including the TUPE Transfer process and restructures.
Must be:
Must be a HR generalist, CIPD level 7, with proven experience of providing HR support across the employee life cycle, managing employee relations up to and including Tribunal, providing advice and guidance to managers, acquisitions/TUPE, and organisational change.
Duties include:
1. To provide comprehensive, high-quality, responsive HR advice to Managers throughout the Springcare Group, advising on all aspects of the employee life cycle, HR policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, and the change management process.
2. Undertake a range of project work on various HR projects to develop the HR provision within the Group.
3. Undertake the TUPE process for mergers and acquisitions for newly acquired homes, ensuring that all elements of the TUPE process are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
4. To coach line managers on how to undertake timely, legally compliant, and transparent HR and employment practices.
5. Carry out the role of Investigating Officer for disciplinary and grievance investigations where required.
6. Provide professional HR advice and guidance throughout the Group regarding the implementation and application of HR initiatives and procedures, including HR casework (discipline, recruitment, performance management, sickness management, etc.).
7. As Senior HR Advisor, create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across the Group.
8. To design and deliver people management training as required to Managers across the Group both face-to-face and via MS Teams.
9. Any other duties which the HR Manager may, from time to time, require.
10. To act as a role model within the HR Team and support the development of the HR Advisor and HR Assistant.
11. Conduct HR policy and process reviews and make recommendations for improvement and drive the implementation of updated and new policies and procedures.
