We have 2 fantastic opportunities to join the HR team in our Merchanting space as HR Business Partner.
Reporting to the HR Director, you will act as a liaison between Directors and Management and the Group HR function; proactively leading, supporting, and adding value in the delivery of key objectives through a formalised effective and visible people agenda. To strengthen existing skills and behaviours to support Directors and Managers to raise their capability to lead and manage change.

Fixed Term contract for approx 12 months
This role will be Hybrid working, 2-3 days will be expected to travel to meetings/ branches when required. The remainder will be at home.
Principal Accountabilities
* Working in partnership with the business leadership teams, define, develop and deliver local people plans which support the achievement of the business commercial and transformational objectives.
* Identify, develop and enhance leadership capacity using effective tools and processes to increase capability and from talent and succession plans.
* Coach senior leaders and managers principally around HR activities but also from a developmental, behavioural and organisational effectiveness perspective.
* Ensure the effective implementation and embedding of all HR and people related initiatives, from people plans and Group; identifying solutions, risks or issues which may hinder the delivery of the business objectives.
* Actively work with senior leaders and managers to role model and deliver cultural change within their respective businesses.
* Champion the value of colleague engagement; challenging the teams to regularly involve and consult with all colleagues in key decisions and operational challenges.
* Working with the HR Business Partners to influence wider HR team plans to ensure they are aligned to deliver key initiatives for the businesses.
Is this you?
Essential
* You will have operated at HR Business partner level within a multi-faceted / multi site environment.
* Ability to demonstrate your drive and resilience in implementing HR and business change.
* Have previously, successfully led a large scale or complex organisation change initiative.
* Ability to demonstrate your coaching and influencing styles.
* Have exceptional communication skills and confidence to engage with senior managers.
* Numerate and analytical.
* Can demonstrate successful delivery of projects designed to add value to the business.
* Excellent planning and organising skills.
* Have knowledge of leadership and change management.
* Employee relations experience.
