Senior Production Operative : Packing
Location: Dunstable, Bedfordshire
Hours: Full Time Permanent : 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: 1 week in 3 shift pattern : 2 weeks: 6.00am : 2.00pm, Monday to Friday 1 week: 1.45pm : 11.45pm, Monday to Thursday
Main Purpose of Role:
The Senior Production Operative will assist the Packing Supervisor in managing the planning, coordination, and control of all resources in the Packing Area.
This role ensures the efficient packing of products according to the planned schedule while maintaining safety, quality standards, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
:Complete all supervisor food safety and health and safety checks on time.
:Maintain a fully charged radio throughout the shift.
: Open and lock the factory, and manage plant start:up and shutdown during Supervisors absence.
: Adhere to all Health and Safety policies.: Maintain excellent GMP standards in the Packing Area.
: Ensure 100 compliance with product specifications.
: Manage data collection systems and ensure timely communication with cross:functional departments.
: Assist in motivating, managing, training, and developing team workers.
: Identify training needs to ensure a multi:skilled and engaged workforce.
: Ensure optimal output in accordance with production plans and spot opportunities for continuous improvement.
: Meet set KPIs and report reasons when not met.
: Help manage and control costs, yields, and giveaway within the Packing Department.
