As a Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, freshly prepared meals that reflect residents’ preferences, nutritional needs, and medical requirements. You’ll play a key part in kitchen leadership, mentoring junior staff, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen with care and consistency. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with alternate weekend working to ensure a strong team presence throughout the week. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a professional kitchen – experience in a care home or healthcare setting is highly desirable Strong understanding of nutritional needs, special diets, and texture-modified foods Passion for creating high-quality, comforting, and enjoyable meals Excellent time management and organisational skills Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude Level 2 Food Hygiene (minimum) – Level 3 desirable What’s in It for You?
