Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
About the School:
We are delighted to partner with a warm and welcoming primary school in the North East of England, catering to children aged 3 to 11. This school is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to grow, learn, and flourish. The committed staff work collaboratively to ensure that each student feels valued and supported throughout their educational journey.
Role Overview:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to children with EHCPs, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their full potential.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring each child feels valued and supported.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to implement strategies and interventions outlined in the EHCPs.
* Support children in developing essential life skills and promoting their independence.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Have experience working with children, preferably in an educational or SEND setting.
* Possess a patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
* Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Are genuinely passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
