KEY OBJECTIVES
* To recruit, enthuse and retain FWD supplier and wholesaler members
* To creatively develop and enhance the FWD member strategy and offer
* To build and maintain relationships with FWD supplier and wholesaler members
* To ensure FWD is maximising commercial opportunities and income
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* A proactive and dynamic driver of monetisable new ideas
* Exceptional account management skills
* A passion for sales
* Experience of working in a member organisation, and understanding of commercial opportunities and industry best practice (desirable)
* Knowledge of the food and drink wholesale sector (desirable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Grow supplier membership through devising and implementing recruitment strategies, managing relationships with supplier members, and retaining them
* Manage the offer to suppliers and recommend developments, updates and enhancements
* Devise a comprehensive offer for sponsorship opportunities across FWD and Diversity in Wholesale activity
* Support the Wholesale News team to drive revenues
* Deliver insights and other value through presentations to supplier members
* Maintain a strong industry network to keep up-to-date with current issues and opportunities
* Ensure benefits of FWD membership are being effectively communicated
* Work with FWD team to devise, produce and deliver high-quality events with strong networking value
* Introduce and work with FWD team to maintain an effective membership CRM system
* Ensuring FWD colleagues understand and can support the supplier member offer
* Quarterly presentations to FWD Council
* Attending industry events
* Supporting and deputising for Chief Executive and Head of External Affairs
* Out of hours work and travel within UK
