MK Search & Selection are currently working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of £700m and a strong international presence delivering across sectors who are looking to engage with an electrical package manager to join their team on a notable data centre they are delivering in south Wales. Reporting to an electrical lead, you will take control of a complex part of the electrical package, tasked with managing and motivating specialist subcontractors from a technical and management perspective through the delivery of the scheme to PC due in 2028. Package Manager Responsibilities: Management of Site QA, specifically with regards to the Electrical package, including setting up, management and closeout of file Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Project team, consulting Engineer and Client requirements. Management of sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and workforce levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minute meeting with subcontractors Knowledge of all electrical systems in commercial settings Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner Management of the snagging system, ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable. Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings Key Experience: 5 years in a senior electrical role Data centre/mission critical experience necessary Degree qualified in electrical field or Strong trade background Ability to lead and drive site team Proven record of supervising and involvement of large installation projects Strong commercial ability Strong ability to work to tight deadlines This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading, forward thinking contractor that are ever-evolving and keeping up with industries trends whilst looking ahead into new markets and sectors.
