Are you passionate about education and workforce development? If so, we have an exciting opportunity within the Imaging departments across Barts, The Royal London and Mile End for a Radiography Practice Educator to provide expert clinical practice, training and education to its Imaging workforce.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Radiographer with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive the education and development of the Imaging workforce and our undergraduate students, ensuring that all staff are given equal access to training opportunities and any associated available funding.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments within the Radiography workforce of The Royal London Site, Mile End, and St. Bartholomew’s sites of Barts Health NHS Trust. The post holder will be required to work locally within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted. The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the Core, MRI, and CT Radiography post-graduate student experience, which may require cross boundary working, and contribute to the delivery of the Radiography workforce strategy.

Qualifications & Knowledge
* To hold DCR(R) or BSc Hons degree in Diagnostic Imaging
* Current and up to date state HCPC registration
Experience
* Extensive experience in core radiographer services, CT and MRI
* Broad range of post-graduate clinical demonstrable experience in diagnostic imaging for a minimum of three years
* Knowledge and understanding of NHS structure and organisation
* Experience of change management
* Demonstrable experience of teaching, supervising and assessing at least one radiographic staff group (such as student, assistant practitioners, practitioners, radiographers, advanced practitioners)
* Demonstrable experience of staff management/supervision
