Job Description Due to a recent contract growth an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Officer overseeing our newly acquired Wincanton Warehouse in Weston-Super-Mare has been created supporting the HPC Nuclear Build. This role will be key to the successful delivery of this prestigious contract. The role will report into the Health and Safety Manager for the contract. Why Wincanton? Input, analyse and report all Health, Safety and Environment information to Wincanton and Client systems. Chair, present and update minutes from HSE meetings pursuing closure on actions and escalating where necessary. Manage contractors prior to accessing site, during and on exiting the premises – this would include paperwork, Permit to Works, Defects, equipment suitability and conformity, follow up requirements, inductions, pass control. Be point of contact for all HSE escalations across eDF/Wincanton sites. Liaise and downline HSE business critical updates to all colleagues. What will you bring? Experience of working with third party service providers to resolve issues.
