Children: Two girls, 11 & 6 years. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm babysitting. Confident London & country drivers essential. Travel: the family has another home in Henley-on-Thames. Candidates must be degree-educated and highly trained & qualified. The family is looking for someone with educational expertise, preferably with an educational background (Primary Teaching ideally), who possesses knowledge of age-appropriate learning and extracurricular activities and who brings that extra special “sparkle” to their jobs. A creative and hands-on approach to activities and learning is essential. Strong organizational skills will be crucial for managing planners, bookings, and logistics effectively for the smooth running of the household. • Whilst you are “on call” for the full, 24/7-day rota your core hours will generally be: Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm with two nights of babysitting and Saturday & Sunday will generally be 4/5 hours in the afternoons. Full live-in hours will be expected if the parents are travelling & you are needed for proxy parenting. • Accommodation if you are proxy parenting is basement bedroom & bathroom. • Driver is needed for school runs & after school activities. • Travel: the family has another home in Henley-on-Thames. • Candidates must be degree-educated and highly trained & qualified. They would like the nannies also bring another skill to the table: i.e.: German language, Piano/Musical background. The girls are both very academic & attend academically demanding schools so supporting them in these environments is key. Mum will mainly handle the school Communication for the eldest, but the nannies will be responsible for liaising with the youngest daughter’s school. Key responsibilities include overseeing and assisting the girls with their schoolwork, including daily homework both before and after school. You will also be responsible for preparing nutritious meals three evenings a week and establishing a soothing bedtime routine. Supporting the girls' development in line within the family's values - such as advocating for smartphone-free time - is essential. Coordinating holiday planners and planning exciting activities and holiday adventures. You will manage bookings and the Outlook diary for optimal scheduling, handle administrative tasks, and run errands while the girls are at school during term time.
