Salary: £ 41,361.00 Depending on Skillset What you’ll be doing: Support the management of the Radar supplier including participation in the Supplier’s regular engineering reviews Support the development of the ECRS Mk2 Radar Equipment through interaction with Supplier and internal BAES stakeholders Support the continued development and finalisation of the RF Interoperability design Support the continued development of the ECRS Mk2 Radome Support the formalisation of necessary Eurofighter documentation through to approval and issue Provide systems and equipment engineering review of supplier-submitted documents in support of the Preliminary Declaration of Design and Performance (PDDP) and other locally produced material using Teamcenter, PCMS, and DOORS as appropriate Provide support to the delivery of the Radar Equipment into sub-system test, Avionics systems integration, and flight test including creation and review of test plans and reports and analysis of System Problem Reports coordinating fixes with the Supplier Provide EDR support to Integrated Test Facility activities for the testing of Radar Equipment Your skills and experiences: Preferably educated to degree level in a STEM subject or equivalent experience Ideally experienced in supplier management Some knowledge of Airborne Radar Systems and Systems Integration is desirable Experience working on the Typhoon programme is desirable Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad stakeholder group Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining attention and concentration for long periods High level of self-motivation and strong organisational skills Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
