Our client is seeking a Senior Lawyer to provide professional, innovative legal services to public sector and not-for-profit organisations. In this role, you will play a key part in advising on the care and protection of children and young people, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and safeguarding best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert legal advice to client organisations on Children’s Social Care functions, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
* Represent clients in care proceedings, safeguarding matters, and advise on other areas of children’s social care.
* Attend court, undertake advocacy, and represent clients in negotiations and discussions.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Support colleagues through mentoring, training, and deputising for senior staff where required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, or a member of the Bar with completed pupillage, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).
* Post-qualification experience in public law Children Act matters.
