Based within the SP Transmission Planning Team, reporting to the Operations Planning Manager, you will work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams. Leading and coaching a team of people to maximise productivity, quality and effectiveness, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to the team whilst leading by example. Motivating your team to achieve and maintain high standards of performance and quality, you will continually maximise productivity through monitoring of work processes and output, focusing on minimising discretionary spend and ensure proactive control of costs. Developing and managing short, medium and long-term planning, you will develop and improve planning and workflow processes, managing the annual outage plan and align internal planning requirements with the Network Access Policy, What you’ll be doing Encouraging your team to seek solutions in areas where performance is not on target, Setting appropriate goals and targets to be managed through the Performance Management Framework. Ensuring your team is aware of, and complies with Company Health, Safety and Environmental requirements Providing monthly updates on performance, developing and implementing agreed solutions to areas of concern, you will ensure compliance with OFGEM and internal levels of service, Responding appropriately to Customer Complaints, taking ownership and resolving as appropriate Delivering excellent customer service to all aspects of your operation and instil this in your team Actively promote customer service standards within area of responsibility Ensuring assigned resources are deployed to maximum effectiveness What you’ll bring Experience working in Planning role at a Senior level within Operation & Maintenance or major construction/infrastructure works.
