Job Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Richmond
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of SEND students? We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Richmond!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and group support to primary school students with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours.
2. Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and positive behaviour management strategies.
3. Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive learning environment.
4. Help students develop social skills, manage daily routines, and achieve their personal and academic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours is highly desirable.
2. Patience, empathy, and a calm approach to supporting young learners.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. A proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the diverse needs of students.
