Role Overview As we expand, Techstart Ventures is seeking a detail-orientated and self-motivated individual, with a keen interest in innovation and entrepreneurship within Northern Irelands start-up landscape, to join their Belfast team. The Grant Fund Co-ordinator will play a valued role in supporting the broad business functions within Techstart Ventures, with a specific focus on the operational success of the PoC Grant Fund. The role will involve liaising with entrepreneurs, managing key operational processes, and conducting analysis of fund performance to ensure that the KPIs and targets are met. Additionally, you will be instrumental in executing marketing initiatives, building relationships with stakeholders, and representing Techstart Ventures at industry events. The ideal candidate should have a blend of mixed skills and an enthusiasm for supporting and engaging with the start-up ecosystem in Northern Ireland. Main duties include (but are not limited to): General operational support across various business functions, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organisational goals Facilitate the running and operations of the Proof of Concept (PoC) Grant Fund; Dealing with enquires & scheduling of meetings with potential applicants Advertising and promoting the PoC Grant Fund through appropriate mediums Communicating directly with applicants, grant beneficiaries and stakeholders Operating the Grant Management software package Data collection and reporting Eligibility checking & review of grant applications Pitch scheduling and running of pitch sessions Preparing relevant documentation and issuing grant offers Monitoring of grant beneficiaries Vouching and approving grant claims Fund Analysis Monitor KPIs Liaise directly with entrepreneurs, providing support and signposting where appropriate Perform analysis on various Funds, and produce operational reports where required Produce company marketing materials and execute marketing activities via numerous channels including social media, website and emails Build relationships with stakeholders, partners and other players within the start-up ecosystem Represent Techstart Ventures at industry events The above is given as a broad range of duties and is not intended to be a complete description of all tasks.
