More detail about the role You will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the homecare team and be responsible for organising and forwarding prescriptions to the correct homecare providers. The homecare team answer queries received from patients, clinical teams and homecare providers helping to ensure that medicines supplied are safe, effective and that the patient is supplied with them as requested by their specialist. You will participate in order processing, matching invoices and credit notes, ensuring prices charged are correct, receiving goods electronically, ensure discrepancies/non-compliance with homecare deliveries are investigated and errors recorded. You will maintain up to date records of invoices passed and forwarding them to the pharmacy finance team for payment. The ability to use a range of data sources and Microsoft software applications is required to enable you to provide a robust audit trail of Homecare prescriptions and invoices.
