Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Multiple sites central London
The Role
1. Identifying technical issues with the systems being worked on and carrying out corrective actions.
2. Identifying potential remedial works or variations during PPM/reactive visits.
3. Leading and undertaking planned preventive maintenance on fire alarm and smoke control systems.
4. Produce maintenance reports and defects logs.
5. Rectify faults and defects.
6. Maintain client stock (spares) levels.
7. Provide training to customers and colleagues as required.
8. Liaise with other specialist maintenance contractors.
9. Working with other members of a maintenance team.
10. Attend training courses when necessary.
What we are looking for:
1. Ability to demonstrate core knowledge of fire detection and fire alarm system maintenance work (including BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations).
2. Experience working on CCTV and access control would be beneficial but not required.
3. Good attention to detail in order to ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed, and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales.
4. Maintain a strong working relationship & good communication between the client and company at all times.
5. Ensure tasks are delivered in line with contractual requirements.
6. Fluent in written and spoken English.
7. A broad IT knowledge, i.e. Windows, Excel, etc.
8. Be prepared to work on call on rotation.
9. A team player with the ability to work from their own initiative.
10. Own tools required. Specialist tools will be provided.
11. Own vehicle required.
12. 18th edition required.

£50-55k salary + 5K expenses for travel (Salary dependent on experience)
