Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our established client's team. With over 25 years of experience in the industry and a well-known brand across the North of England, you will be well supported with training and mentoring as you establish yourself within the team.
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers in the field.
Duties:
1. Install, maintain, and repair complex equipment at customer sites
2. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues
3. Perform scheduled maintenance on fire alarm and detection systems, emergency lighting systems, and other fire and security systems
4. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
5. Conduct equipment training for customers to ensure proper usage and maintenance
6. Assess upselling opportunities within the Fire Extinguisher and Safety Portfolios
7. Fault finding and preparation of official site documentation
Skills:
1. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
2. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
3. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
4. Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites
Must have a UK Driver's License and rights to work in the UK. FIA LEVEL 3 or equivalent in fire alarm maintenance is also preferred.

Up to £31,000.00 per year
