Job Description:
Venator is currently recruiting for a Source to Pay Specialist to join its team. The jobholder will be a member of the Wynyard Source to Pay Team and will support the administration of the Accounts Payable process.
The role will also support the implementation of improvement opportunities and work on improvement project teams to implement process change as well as provision of full support across all business entities.
Job responsibilities include:
1. All duties are always to be carried out in compliance with Venator Corporate EHS, SOX and business conduct policies and guidelines.
2. Providing support to S2P KL in charge of invoice processing, vendor master data and T&E claims review for all SAP NEON legal entities.
3. Manage vendors helpdesk for all legal entities of EMEA, US and Canada countries.
4. Provision of 3rd level Customer Service support to the business & suppliers.
5. Develop good working relationships with key process stakeholders, specifically the business, purchasing and BPO partner.
6. Preparation of all operational payment proposals and manual payments for all 18 SAP NEON legal entities. Ensure values of proposals are equal to forecast amounts before arranging the processing of the files by the S2P management team. Monitor B2B confirmation receipts and manual payment approval with Accounting/Treasury team to confirm successful transmission and remittance.
7. Manage the GL AP bank clearing account clearing for prompt items allocation and reconciliation.
8. Support the S2P Payments Senior Specialist in the preparation of accounts payable cash flow forecasting information which is to be submitted to S2P GPL for review per agreed timelines.
9. Pro-actively resolve any AP process failures and share learning with S2P KL ensuring corrective actions are taken and that lessons learned are incorporated in future operating processes.
10. Work Process Improvement initiatives in partnership with key process stakeholders.
11. Monitor the performance of Venator business entities using key S2P metrics and reports to enable root cause analysis and resolution. Manage Legal entities ownership for end to end responsibilities in terms of FPY, reporting, pending/parked items and accounting (AP to GL, PO compliance, GR process, downpayments, debit balances, MRBR, etc).
12. Monitor Accounts Payable balance sheet accounts, perform supplier statement reconciliation as required and follow up on the unreconciled items to make sure those are resolved in a timely manner.
Candidate requirements:
1. Degree level education or equivalent experience.
2. Business or native fluency in English plus another European language is preferable.
3. Experience of working in accounts, particularly financial accounting & accounts payable (preferred).
4. Ability to support with preparing forecasts of supplier payments to meet Venator Treasury requirements.
5. Experience in reconciling supplier statements to ensure the integrity of the SAP AP.
6. Exposure to 1st level support in resolving supplier queries and requests for payment.
7. PC literacy in MS Office, particularly Excel.
8. Escalation process, resolving supplier queries, requests for payment to ensure that no action is taken against Venator due to late payment of supplier invoices (essential).
9. In-depth knowledge of the relevant areas of SAP FI/CO and MM modules (preferred).
10. Experience and knowledge of payment instruments (preferred).
11. Strong negotiation ability with the self-confidence to make decisions in real-time under pressure.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate to all levels in the organization and to external stakeholders.
13. Flexible, proactive and ability to multi-task, whilst working within a close-knit team environment.
