Job Description:
The Role
We are seeking a Faculty Support Administrator to provide excellent, effective and efficient administration to one of the Schools and Departments within the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education (HSSCE). You will be providing diary management to the Head of School and administrative support to the academic and senior leadership team. Previous experience of diary management is essential as well as a good working knowledge of administrative procedures.
You will provide electronic diary management for the Head of School, deal with associated arrangements, setting up, scheduling and prioritising appointments, meetings, and visits accordingly. You will also provide highly effective customer support to staff in the faculty, whilst coordinating a variety of functions and be able to work flexibly as part of the operations support team.
A key member of the Faculty Office, you will contribute to the overall smooth running of the faculty by providing exceptional administrative support. The role will provide a highly efficient and effective administrative and support service to the faculty leadership team, Heads of School, and covering for absent team members when required.

You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a confident and proactive approach to your work. The ability to build good working relationships across the faculty and university is essential, and listening effectively and responding sensitively to others is important.
