Air Conditioning Engineer\n\nLocation:\n \n Leicester\n\nSalary:\n \n £38k - £43k\n\nHours:\n \n Full-time\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated\n \n Air Conditioning Engineer\n \n to join our clients dynamic team. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across a diverse range of contracts, including healthcare, retail, and supermarkets. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to thrive in a fast-paced facilities management environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on air conditioning systems, including splits, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers.\n\nDiagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure equipment operates at optimum performance.\n\nSupport the delivery of SLAs by responding to client callouts within agreed timeframes.\n\nMaintain compliance with health and safety standards and site-specific requirements.\n\nLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.\n\nProduce accurate technical and situational reports as required.\n\nAssist with identifying and quoting for additional works where applicable.\n\nParticipate in a 24-hour call-out rota on a rotational basis.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.\n\nF-Gas Certification (Category 1).\n\nProven experience in servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems across commercial properties.\n\nStrong working knowledge of building regulations and HVAC standards.\n\nFamiliarity with health and safety practices, including risk assessments and COSHH.\n\nFull UK Driving License.\n\nDesirable:\n\nIPAF & PASMA certifications.\n\nExperience working in facilities management contracts.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOpportunities for training and career development.\n\nA supportive and inclusive team culture
