HR Business Partner, Warrington Salary up to £40,000 My client is a hugely successful logistics company who are currently looking to recruit an HR Business Partner to join their small but incredibly busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for d riving business results and increasing colleague engagement. This will be done by partnering with business leaders and colleagues across the organisation to support the organisational people strategy and wider business plan You will provide support and guidance to Colleagues, Function Heads and Line Managers on all aspects of people management particularly employment relations and Human Resource best practice. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect and professionalism Advise and coach managers on the the people agenda Support HR compliance Gather, analyse and report on key data via HR systems Support the central HR Administration, including supporting HR Apprentice Ensure employment law compliance is adhered to Contribute to and lead HR projects as appropriate. Support the development of HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair, consistent management of colleagues across the group. Manage and support during investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters. Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensure cases are dealt with in a timely manner and company policies, procedures and best practice are adhered to. Develop and maintain effective relationship with the Management teams, Union stewards as appropriate. Support annual pay negotiations with management and union involvement Work with L & D Co-ordinator to upskill Managers across the business as appropriate, including delivered core-skills training. Monitor sickness absence, manage health issues/medical referrals, and provide monthly and weekly reporting about action taken. Manage flexible working requests in line with legislation and company policies Develop strong business relationship with the central HR Team supporting when necessary. Support and lead TUPE projects as required. Support recruitment initiatives in your business area as appropriate. Support/oversee the implementation of new HR processes/systems. Criteria: CIPD Qualification (minimum Level 5) Degree or Equivalent (Desirable). Full Driving Licence and business Insurance Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, HR Systems, email, and HR Teams or similar. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with high levels of integrity, confidentiality, ethics, and judgement. High level of analytical ability with strong attention to detail. High levels of flexibility and ability to work through ambiguity A committed team player with a highly collaborative style, you need to be resilient, resourceful, and agile The ability to work in an ever changing, fast paced environment Minimum of 2 years Proven Generalist experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HRBP role Experience of working in a unionised environment and development of good relationships with the union Fully conversant and up to date with all aspects of employment Law and HR Best Practice Ability to work on own initiative autonomously and flexibly Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Pro-active and self-motivated A team player Excellent organisational skills Excellent safety and compliance standards
