Knowledge, Skills & Training
Essential criteria
1. Registered health practitioner
2. Relevant full Masters degree or demonstrable extensive equivalent experience in the relevant specialty
3. Evidence of recent evidence based professional development in an up to date portfolio demonstrating leadership, education and service development achievements including links to national work and standards
4. Registered non-medical prescriber (if professionally appropriate)
5. Clear and demonstrable evidence of advanced, autonomous practice in the management of patients / service users
6. Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training
7. Knowledge and understanding of the Trust’s strategies
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria
8. Evidence of effective leadership and Risk management skills
9. Evidence of relevant leadership in meeting clinical governance objectives
10. Evidence of proactive involvement in the supervision and development of members of the multi-disciplinary team and able to demonstrate changes of practice through these
11. Evidence of education and training in practice
12. Evidence of involvement in the development of programmes of care, protocols and audit
13. Experience of interdisciplinary working
14. Evidence of involvement in policy and practice change
15. Evidence of publication in healthcare arena
16. Evidence of research involvement
17. Experience of co-ordinating complex activities / programmes of care with other professionals and agencies

18. Able to undertake clinical supervision and systematic peer caseload review of colleagues on an individual or group basis.
