Job summary Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant in Occupational Health and Wellbeing to complement the existing multidisciplinary team. The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service (OHWS) is hosted within the People and Organisational Development Directorate at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHCT). The department provides a comprehensive service to over 22,000 staff within NHCT and other local organisations. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be instrumental in promoting the success of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service, ensuring that our clients receive a quality service based on the principles of clinical governance. In conjunction with the Occupational Health Nurses, the post holder will demonstrate specialist knowledge and expertise in Occupational Health as a clinician, educator, advisor and advocate, empowering staff and acting as role model, ensuring good working relationships.
