Are you a Process, Manufacturing, or Production Engineer looking for a long-term career within a family-owned manufacturer, offering a range of day-to-day duties and challenges, where you can be involved in the process from end to end?
On offer is an exciting new role working in a tight-knit team supporting projects and production from conception to handover to operation.
This role will be split between office-based and on the factory floor, including project scheduling and creation, toolmaker management, handover to operations, and getting involved in the CAD to Cutting process.
This vacuum and thermoforming plastics company produces components for the automotive, construction, agriculture, and materials handling sectors, distributing globally. Founded over 20 years ago, they are currently the busiest they have been in many years and well-positioned to grow.
This role would suit a Process, Manufacturing, or Production Engineer looking to further their career in a stable manufacturer, where they can voice their ideas for change and make an impact.
The Role:
* Strategising process improvement within manufacturing
* Scheduling and leading PFMEA, developing and implementing KPIs
* Split between 50% office-based and 50% on the shop floor
* Toolmaker management
The Person:
* Process, Manufacturing, or Production Engineer or similar
* NPI experience
* Previous work in Plastics is ideal but not essential
* Must have full right to work in the UK (no sponsoring)
